The role
As an Administrative Officer, you’ll receiving extensive full-time training, and then – depending on the team and location – take on a number of responsibilities. These could include undertakingtasks such as managing file movement and tracking, logging correspondence, monitoring electronic inboxes, issuing letters and dealing with customer enquiries. You might also be involved in the scanning and digitising of customer supporting evidence, updating relevant databases and files, and ensuring case files are decision-ready for casework, appeals or removal processes.
Other tasks could include telephone call handling, booking appointments, escorting customers, conducting face-to-face identity interviews, facilitating language analysis interviews and helping to maintain our database of freelance interpreters. Depending on business need and the specific team you’re working with, you might also be requested to perform a number of other additional duties.
